Finding the right balance between paid talent and “real” people has always been a challenge for directors and producers delivering quality, direct-response television. When ATI Career Training was seeking the right message delivered from their own faculty and staff, the outcome was both a success with calls delivered and the connection between the school and its audience. In just two days a series of commercials were produced that conveyed the heartfelt commitment between faculty and staff in delivering the technical education necessary to compete in today’s automotive and HVAC trade industries. Bruce Moore, an Automotive Service Technician instructor, offered an amazing performance few directors could ever wish to achieve from unpaid talent.
